Kacper Malinowski wins August Goal of the Month

The first Double Barrelled Brewery Goal of the Month winner for the 2022/23 season has been confirmed as AFC Aldermaston’s Kacper Malinowski.

Malinowski scored his audacious lob in the 3-2 Cherry Red Records Combined Counties League Division One win over Woodley United on the 29th August, one of three goals so far this season.

Malinowski’s strike was one of 15 that made the shortlist, you can watch them all again below.

A public vote was held with 275 eligible votes cast. These votes were then combined with the thoughts of our guest judge Alicia Povey to provide an overall winner.

The top three in the competition saw Malinowski take top spot with Keaton August of Ascot United second and Zach Tull of Woodley United third.

Malinowski will be sent a four-pack of Double Barrelled Brewery’s superb Ding Lager as a prize. Submission’s are now open for September.
