Hungerford Town manager Danny Robinson has confirmed his retained player list and announced several signings ahead of the clubs return to Step 4.
The Crusaders suffered relegation at the end of last season from the Southern League Premier Division South during a season that saw the club have to tighten its belt.
Chairman Cris Bowden has kept faith with Robinson over the summer and the manager has plenty of experience at Step 4 with Thatcham Town.
Hungerford will be in the Southern League Division One South this coming season with some big away days to the likes of Falmouth Town and Exmouth Town, while there’s a derby of sorts to enjoy against Swindon Supermarine.
Among the retained list of twelve players is Matt Berry-Hargreaves, George Smith, Ramarni Medford-Smith and Tyler Blackford as well as Sam Francis, Darnell-Joe Luke, Fabio Lopes, Jordan Rose, Cam Squires, Brad Passey, Harry Chard and Alex Braidwood.
Robinson has also brought back versatile midfielder James Clark from Basingstoke Town having previously played 80 games for the Crusaders.
Winger Nana Owusu also joins from Havant & Waterlooville while Nnams Nwachuku moves across from Uxbridge and centre-back Kyle Bailey makes a return to Bulpit Lane.
Hungerford begin their pre-season campaign at home to Hanwell Town on 4th July before heading to Didcot Town on 14th July. The Crusaders will also play games against Abingdon United and Fairford Town.
