Windsor & Eton face Broadfields United in the Combined Counties League Premier Division North play-off final on Saturday with an eye on Step 4 football and a third promotion in three seasons.

The Royalists followed promotion from the Thames Valley Premier League in 2024 by winning the CCL Division One last season and are now 90 minutes from the fourth tier of English Non-League football, a level last achieved by a club with ‘Windsor’ in its title when the original W&E won the Southern League South West Division One in 2010.

Windsor beat Burnham 1-0 in the semi-final in midweek with over 800 supporters inside Stag Meadow, and you’d expect a similar crowd for the visit or Broadfields on Saturday for the Final.

With a large crowd expected, the club have issued a statement around parking for those planning on driving: “If you’re planning to drive tomorrow, we encourage you to arrive early as the car park will fill up quickly.

“Once the car park is full here are some alternative options, Trevelyan School is a 3 minute walk with Ringo payment. Please as always be respectful to our neighbours.”

It’s honours even this season as well between both sides with draws home and away in both league fixtures.

KO: Windsor & Eton vs Broadfields United (3pm – Saturday 2nd May) – Stag Meadow

Yateley United meanwhile are also at home and should pack out Sean Deveaux Park for the visit of Whitchurch United in the Wessex League Division One play-off Final.

United beat Colden Common 2-1 on Wednesday night in front of 407 supporters and it promises to be a big occasion again.

In terms of previous meetings this season, Yateley hold the upper hand by goal difference. Whitchurch won the first encounter 3-2 in August but the greens replied with a 4-0 win in October.
