26/27 allocations: Windsor & Eton into Isthmian League and Hungerford Town in Southern League South division

The Football Association has released the National League System Club allocations for Steps 1 to 4 ahead of the 2026/27 season.

Subject to appeals and further withdrawals from clubs, the listings show play-off winners Windsor & Eton as expected in the Step 4 Isthmian League South Central Division One along with Ascot United and Binfield as well as promoted Combined Counties Premier League North and South champions Ashford Town (Middlesex) and Cobham.

26/27 allocations: Thatcham Town and Virginia Water swap divisions as Maidenhead Town learn promotion fate

Maidenhead United and Slough Town are both listed in the National League South while Bracknell Town’s derbies for next season will include Basingstoke Town and Chertsey Town and the Robins will enjoy away days at the likes of Bath City and Chippenham Town next season in the Southern League Premier Division South.

Hungerford Town meanwhile find themselves back at Step 4 for the first time since 2012/13 and will compete next season in the Southern League Division One South.

The Crusaders will rack up a few miles on the road with trips to the likes of Exmouth Town and Falmouth Town while there will be a derby game against Swindon Supermarine to look forward to.
