Stefan Allen marks 150th Mortimer appearance with a goal in Wargrave draw

Finchampstead 5 – 0 Woodley United Royals

In probably the least surprising result of the day top of the table Finchampstead defeated Woodley United Royals by five goals to nil. Finch remain top, two points clear of Yateley United. Nick Payne, James Payne, Alex Woodhead and a brace from Joel Day were on the scoresheet for Finchampstead.

Reading YMCA 1 – 1 Westwood Wanderers

It was all square at The Cauldron where YMCA were held by Westwood Wanderers. Reading YMCA’s goal was scored by Nick Reynolds in the 87th minute.

Marlow United 2 – 3 Maidenhead Town

Town came from a goal down at half-time to claim all three points at Marlow on Saturday. Despite going ahead via Abdel El Jalaoui, Marlow were pegged back by Town who staged a great second half comeback with goals from Jake Wheeler, Lewis Critcher and the evergreen John Swift.

Richings Park 1 – 1 Wraysbury

It was honours even in the local derby at Richings Park Sports Club. Richings Park are now in fifth place with Wraysbury in ninth.

Wargrave 1 – 1 Mortimer

Wargrave and Mortimer shared the points at Wargrave Recreation Ground. Mortimer’s goal was scored by Stefan Allen.


Yateley United 4 – 2 Reading City U23

Yateley continued their great start to the season with a 4-2 victory over Reading City U23 at Sean Devereux Park. Warren Clark, Dan Gosling and Matt Hood were amongst the goals for United who are now in second, just a couple of points behind Finchampstead.
