The 2022/23 FA Vase Semi-Finals are upon us after the draw was made on TalkSport 2 on Monday 13th March.
There is no such thing as an ‘easy draw’ when the FA Vase gets into the later rounds and there was no better proof of that on Saturday than when all four Quarter Final ties went to penalty shootouts.
Ascot United drew 1-1 at West Didsbury & Chorlton, Congleton Town vs Bury AFC and Peacehaven & Telscombe vs Corsham Town also finished by the same scoreline while holders Newport Pagnell Town drew 2-2 with Atherstone Town.
That meant four sets of shootouts with Ascot, Congleton, Corsham and Newport all coming through. Nail-biting stuff.
Those shootout wins though earned the sides a place in the last four with the matchups revealed live on national radio station TalkSport 2.
The 2022/23 Isuzu FA Vase Semi-Final draw:
- Congleton Town (Cheshire) vs Newport Pagnell Town (Buckinghamshire)
- Corsham Town (Wiltshire) vs Ascot United (Berkshire)
The FA Vase Semi-Finals are due to be played on the weekend of Saturday 1st April 2023.
