Thames Valley Premier League Division Four side Braybrooke have announce the club will fold at the end of the season.

The Ascot based side, formed in 2003 announced on social media that after 18 years, the 2020/21 season would be the clubs last.

A statement said: “Unfortunately after 18 years, we will be folding after tonight’s season closing game. Thank you to Thames Valley Premier League and the rest of the teams that have kept everything so competitive over the years. We will miss it but the time is right with so many personal changes for us!”

An earlier tweet had said the club would have 11 players for their match against Harchester Hawks in Arborfield for the first time in about four weeks.

The clubs last full season was in 2017/18 when they finished fourth in Division Three.

The final games of the 2020/21 season in Division Four take place on Thursday night and Saturday afternoon. Burghfield Reserves have already been crowned champions but Reading YMCA Rapids could seal a runners up spot in a race with Reading City Development.

Final fixtures:

Harchester Hawks vs Braybrooke (Thursday)
Henley Town Development vs Phoenix Old Boys Development (Saturday)
Reading City Development vs Finchampstead Development (Saturday)
AFC Corinthians vs Reading YMCA Rapids (Saturday)
