He scored the goal that beat Dagenham & Redbridge in the FA Cup but now Kamaron English is heading to pastures new.

English joined Bracknell in September 2022 from then Vanarama National League South Hungerford Town and was the Robins hero of the FA Cup Fourth Round win this season – scoring the only goal of the game late on against the Daggers, setting up an FA Cup First Round Proper tie against Cambridge United.

Writing on Twitter, English said: “My time at Bracknell Town has come to an end. I would like to thank everyone associated with the club from players to staff and of course, the fans it’s been an amazing journey and I will never forget the memories created both on and off the pitch love you all Robins thank you.”

English has previously played for Marlow over several spells, Hendon, Harrow Borough and Ashford Town (Middlesex).

Isthmian League South Central Division One Ascot United have made two signings to bolster their own squad with the addition of Ewan Lynch, who has most recently been playing full-time football in the US, as well as former Yellas Soccer School graduate Ollie Mason who joins on dual registration from National League Woking.

The Yellas have also signed goalkeeper Mark Scott from Basingstoke Town – the stopper has already made his mark with a Man of the Match performance in the 2-2 draw with Hanworth Villa.

Ascot’s Isthmian League neighbours Thatcham Town have added to their own squad following a couple of recent departures with the return of Harvey Harry after 18 months away at the likes of Bracknell Town and Slough Town.
