Bracknell Town have confirmed that Manager Carl Davies and Assistant Sean Miles have departed the club.
The duo took over in the Robins dugout in October 2025 with Bracknell rock-bottom of the Southern League. At the time they were the club’s third management team of the season after Jordan Ive and Matt Saunders, that followed Ive, Jon Underwood and Bobby Wilkinson in the 2024/25 season.
Davies and Miles led the Robins to a comfortable 12th place finsih on 55 points.
Davies himself is a former player, captain and player/manager of Bracknell Town, leading the club over two spells. Both he and Miles signed new contracts to lead Bracknell this season, in April 2026.
A statement from the club released on social media said: “Bracknell Town can today confirm that First Team manager Carl Davies and Assistant Manager Sean Miles have parted ways with the club.
“Everyone at Bracknell Town would like to place on record our sincere thanks to Carl and Sean for their commitment, hard work and dedication since joining the club in 2025.
“During their time at Bottom Meadow, they played an important role in the club, and we are grateful for their professionalism and effort they have shown throughout their tenure.
“We would like to thank Carl and Sean for their contributions and wish them both every success in their future endeavours.
“Further updates regarding the First Team management structure will be communicated in due course.
“The board of Bracknell Town FC.”
Football in Berkshire understands a new manager will be appointed shortly.
The announcement comes hours after the cancellation of their final pre-season fixture against Worthing next Saturday, with the Robins citing ‘circumstances out of their control’. Worthing, however, issued in a statement that they were informed by Bracknell that ‘they were unable to fulfill the fixture.’
