Southern League Premier Division South Bracknell Town have appointed former Yateley United boss Adam Hopkins as manager.
The Robins saw Carl Davies and Sean Miles depart on Thursday evening following a successful 12th place finish last season. Hopkins oversaw a promotion via the play-offs for Yateley at Step 6 last season and was preparing to lead the club in the Combined Counties League and FA Cup for the first time.
A statement post by Bracknell on social media said: “Bracknell Town Football Club is delighted to announce the appointment of Adam Hopkins as our new First Team Manager.
“Adam is no stranger to Bracknell Town, having been involved with the club in a variety of roles over the past 25 years. His passion for the Robins and understanding of what this football club represents make this a truly exciting appointment.
“Following the success he enjoyed last season, we feel now is the right time to bring Adam back into the fold and lead the next chapter of Bracknell Town Football Club.
“Everyone at the club would like to welcome Adam to his new role and wish him every success as we look ahead to the 2026/27 season.
“Welcome home, Adam.”
On Friday morning, Yateley announced Hopkins had departed the Hampshire side saying: ““It was fantastic to see Sean Devereux Park buzzing with such huge crowds. Adam has taken the club to Step 5 and into the FA Cup for the first time and we will always be grateful to that.
“However, the lure of a different opportunity was too big for Adam to turn down and we wish him every success in the future.”
Bracknell had been due to face Worthing on Saturday but that game has been postponed.
