Fresh from a title winning campaign with Bracknell Town, Temi Eweka has made the step up to the Vanarama National League with Maidenhead United.
Part of one of the meanest defences in the country during 2021/22, Eweka and centre back partner Dan Bayliss actually scored more goals between them than the 12 they conceded.
Eweka announced his Bracknell departure last week and has now made the step up to the top tier of non-league football with the Magpies where he’ll face the likes of Notts County, Scunthorpe United and Oldham Athletic next season. As well as ex-Football League sides, a number of Magpies games featured on BT Sport and the club hosted Hollywood royalty last season.
Maidenhead have seen a couple of departures since wrapping up their fifth season in the National League including George Wells and reportedly Josh Smile.
Eweka has been short listed for this years Berkshire Football Awards in the category of Player of the Season.
