The goalkeeper had initially moved on a one month loan deal

Vanarama National League side Maidenhead United have made goalkeeper Daniel Gyollai’s move to York Road permanent.

The goalkeeper, 24, moved to the Magpies in December on loan from Peterborough United having initially been made available for transfer by the EFL Championship Posh in the summer.

The goalkeeper has previous experience in Hungary with Békéscsaba 1912 and Honved, moving to England in 2013 to play for Stoke City where he spent several spells on loan at Nantwich Town.

The Magpies began the season with James Holden on loan from Reading FC and Rhys Lovett, the former has since returned to the Royals while Lovett has moved on to Billericay Town.

Maidenhead are next in action on Tuesday 18th January when Chesterfield come to York Road.
