Captain Louis Bouwers and goalscoring hot-shot Ian Davies are among the first names confirmed as returning by Cherry Red Records Combined Counties League Premier Division side Ascot United.
On top of that, the club have confirmed long-serving Jonny Denton will return along with Elliot Carey and have revealed the signing of Dan Bailey from Hellenic League Premier Division Flackwell Heath.
The Yellamen, who were top of the division by nine points when the season ended, will be looking to go again and the addition of Bailey who captained the Heathens 11 times in 17 games last season will certainly help them toward that goal.
Of the returnees, Bouwers led one of the Combined Counties League’s meaner defences in the division making 37 appearances while Carey featured 25 times.
Meanwhile, up front Davies did what Ian Davies does best, scoring 23 goals in all competitions while in the middle of the park, Denton added to the milestone 100 appearances hit in January 2019 with another 39, scoring five goals in the process.
