Uhlsport Hellenic League Premier Division side Binfield are busy preparing to return to pre season training but have taken time out to confirm one key player return.
The Moles have announced that Sean Moore has returned to the club after a spell away testing himself at step 4 and the Bostik League with Bracknell Town last season.
The attacker saw was deployed as a winger for much of his game time with the Robins but did have one memorable stint in goal for the Larges Lane side after a 13th minute injury to Mark Scott.
Moore was the first one to put his hand up on the bench and took over the number one shirt in the match against South Park that the Robins won 4-3.
Moore – who made a cameo for Binfield in their Floodlit Cup semi final last season on dual registration – had a bit of a breakout season in 2018/19, becoming a key player for the Moles making 20 appearances and scoring 12 goals.
A post on the clubs official twitter account said: “Ahead of returning to pre season training tonight we announce the return to the club of Sean Moore . Sean moved to Bracknell Town half way through last season & was sorely missed . We are delighted to see him return to Hill Farm Lane.”
The striker responded: “Can’t wait to be back playing with the boys and Roger Herridge but most of all I am excited to see where Carl Withers can take us!!”
The Moles confirmed at the end of the season that long-serving former midfielder Carl Withers would join the Binfield first team management.
Moore went on to make 22 appearances for Bracknell last season in the Bostik League South Central Division One last season scoring twice.
