The weather and cup ties meant there were just two league games in the Premier Division of the Thames Valley Premier League on Saturday with Berks County’s home tie against Finchampstead, unsurprisingly one of the games to go ahead.
County could have leap-frogged Reading City and Westwood Wanderers at the weekend but couldn’t beat the Finches.
Elsewhere Mortimer’s resurgance continued at the other end of the table under interim boss Stuart Plumridge.
