The Bostik League South Central Division 1’s top two met at Larges Lane on Saturday and a 3-3 draw meant was as you were.
Bracknell Town and Marlow clashed, the latter topping the table on 33 points and the former second with 30, but it was a second six goal draw in two league games for the Robins.
There was a start for the Robins new centre back Liam Eagle and Bracknell lead after just 13 minutes through Joe Grant but a Kameron English penalty on the half hour sent the sides in level at the break.
James Clark and Isaac Osei-Tutu then struck for Marlow on 50 and 70 minutes before a dramatic fightback, first thanks to a goal that was described by regular Robins watchers as coming off Adam Cornell’s back side after he charged down a clearance on 71 minutes.
Then Liam Ferdinand levelled on 80 minutes with what Bracknell’s twitter account called ‘a thunderous effort’ after a perfectly weighted ball from Joel Jacobs.
