Bracknell Town announced the signing of former Hartley Wintney centre-half Liam Eagle on Thursday evening via twitter.
Liam Eagle was an essential part of the Hartley team that won back-to-back Combined Counties Premier Division titles. He also knows what it takes to be promoted from Step 4 having been part of the Hartley Wintney side that was promoted to Step 3 last season.
Eagle is clearly highly thought of by his former club. Hartley Wintney released a statement on their club website last week thanking the player for his efforts at the club, calling Eagle “a true hero”.

He joins a Bracknell Town side who lie in second place in the Evo-Stik South Central division and will offer stiff competition for places to the other centre-halves at the club, Carl Davies, Matthew Day and Joe Gater. Another centre half, Guy Hollis is primarily a Slough Town player.
Bracknell Town face league leaders Marlow in the Bostik South Central Division this Saturday at Larges Lane.
