Subsequently, he had a successful spell in charge at Henley Town where his side won promotion from the Uhlsport Hellenic League Division One East. Most recently he had been in charge of West Berkshire side AFC Aldermaston.

A statement on the Ducks website where he had been caretaker manager since January, said: “We’re pleased to confirm that following the conclusion of the season, Dave Tuttle has accepted the role as the club’s permanent manager.

“The team won six, drew four and lost five of the 15 games since Tuttle took over at the end of January, earning 22 points and retaining the club’s step four status for another season.”
