The waiting is over, Football in Berkshire can finally reveal the winner of the November Double Barrelled Brewery Goal of the Month award.
Joining the likes of Anja Harper, Harry Hoath and Kacper Malinowski in our 2022/23 Goals Hall of Fame is Binfield midfielder Massimo Giamattei for his brilliant first goal against Hanworth Villa in the Pitching In Isthmian League South Central.
189 verified votes were cast and those were put alongside the choices of our guest judge Ady Williams the former Reading FC captain and BBC Radio Berkshire presenter. We’d like to thank Ady for taking the time out to judge the contest.
Giamattei’s goal was one of two he scored in the 2-2 draw with Hanworth, giving the Moles a 1-0 lead at the time. He is joined on the podium in November by joint-second placed Seb Linturn (Wokingham & Emmbrook) and Connor Shingleston (Pobbers FC) and joint-third placed Joao Jardim (Wokingham & Emmbrook) and Tyler D’Cruz (Reading City).
