The second Double Barrelled Brewery Goal of the Month winner for the 2022/23 season has been confirmed as Holyport’s Harry Hoath.

Hoath scored his long range effort in an Isuzu FA Vase tie against CB Hounslow United that Holyport drew 1-1 but won 4-3 omn penalties. So far it is Harry’s only goal of the season.

Hoath’s strike was one of 11 that made the shortlist, you can watch them all again below.

A public vote was held with 277 eligible votes cast. These votes were then combined with the thoughts of our guest judge Bobby Wilkinson (who ranked Hoath as number one followed by Joe Sawyer, Megan Halfacree and Lee Togwell in his top four) to give an overall ranking.

The top three in the competition saw Hoath take top spot with Halfacree (Maidenhead United) and Sawyer (Hype Train) coming in joint-second.

Hoath will be sent a four-pack of Double Barrelled Brewery’s superb Ding Lager as a prize. Submissions are now open for October.
