Bracknell Town & District Sunday League side FC Fernhill hopped across the Berkshire/Hampshire border to lift the Aldershot Senior Invitation Challenge Cup on Sunday afternoon with a 5-0 win over FC Fleet.

Fernhill finished second in the Premier Division this season but made up for that disappointment with a superb win at National League side Aldershot Town’s Recreation Ground courtesy of a Charlie Evanson hat trick and goals from Josh Dillon and Tristian Bentley.

The four time Bracknell Sunday League Premier champions have a number of players with Hellenic League experience in their side including Wokingham & Emmbrook’s captain Sam Lawrence and Elliot Rusforth.
