Morale Madrid lifted the Bracknell Town & District Sunday League Senior Cup on Friday night with a 5-2 win over Wokingham & Emmbrook TMW at Larges Lane.

The Squirrels lifted the trophy thanks to a Shane Cooper-Clark hat-trick and a goal each for Kennie Chamberlain and Lloyd Twyman while Wokingham & Emmbrook TMW’s goals came via Johnny Clifford and Alex O’Brien.

Morale – who finished third in the Bracknell Sunday League Premier Division – were quick to tweet praise for their opponents on the night saying: “Massive hats off to Wokingham, superb and worked tirelessly throughout and even at the closing stages, kept on going. Huge respect.”

Liam Day – Bracknell Town under 21 manager and Morale captain tweeted: “Boom 5-2 win and the cup is ours. Couldn’t be prouder to say I captain we go again next season. And thanks for the support.”

The second Sunday League cup final – the Junior Cup – takes place this coming Friday night at Larges Lane. Full details here.
