Following the exciting news that former Bracknell Town winger Sam Barratt is on trial with League 1 side Bristol Rovers, he has been named in the Gas squad to face Exeter City this afternoon (Saturday).

Barratt has been on trial at the Memorial Ground for over a week and impressed supporters and local media alike with a full profile on the Bristol Post website on Friday.

According to the official Rovers website, Sam will travel with the squad to League 2 City this afternoon.

The FiB team watched Rovers in action last season as they sealed promotion from League 2, with Rory Gaffney and Daniel Leadbitter impressing significantly and both join Barratt in the squad.

Both Duds and I wish Sam all the best of luck this afternoon.
