Maidenhead United winger Sam Barratt made the Non League Paper’s team of the day following his first start in the National League for the Magpies.

Barratt, the former Woodley United and Bracknell Town midfielder had a hand in the Magpies goal as they drew 1-1 with Barrow on Saturday afternoon.

The Maidenhead websites report stated: “It was through the aforementioned left wing threat that Maidenhead struck shortly before the half hour mark as Barratt went on another marauding raid and his terrific centre was bundled in by Adrian Clifton at the near post for the striker’s first goal in his second spell with the club.”

Barratt committed to the Magpies over the summer ahead of the National League campaign but has been watched in recent seasons by Football League clubs including Bristol Rovers and Crystal Palace.
