Binfield face MK Dons on Tuesday night at Alfredian Park in the Berks & Bucks County Cup hoping to book a home tie with MK Dons.
The Moles have had to wait for this fixture owing to the Freds involvement in the FA Cup and will be eager to get a league defeat on Saturday at home to Bishop’s Cleeve out of their minds.
Roger Herridge’s side were drawn out of the same hat that saw neighbours Bracknell Town earn a plum home tie with Reading FC.
Binfield had Ian Davies back from injury on Saturday but Sean Moore (pictured) was sent off for a second bookable offence, new FA rules though mean Moore shouldn’t miss the County Cup tie if selected. Fellow forward Eddie Lee is likely to miss out with injury.
Also in action on Tuesday night are Wokingham & Emmbrook who travel to Division 1 East pace setters AFC Aldermaston in the Subsidiary Cup. The Sumas will look for an improvement on Saturday when they were beaten 4-0 in the County Cup by Thames Valley League side Wrightchoice & Unity.
Following that defeat manager Dan Bateman tweeted: “Never known anything like this injury and suspension list at Wokingham. Managed to get 13 out today and then lost 2 more players to injury within 20 mins of the game starting! Never got going today and deservedly beaten.”
