Thames Valley Premier League side Mortimer have announced their new managerial team for the 2020/21 season.

Former Thatcham Town midfielder Paul Taplin, who has played for the West Berkshire club for several years, is the new manager.

Chris Ferdinand and Graham With, two well-known characters at Mortimer FC, have also been added to the management team as the Villagers plan for the 2020/2021 season.

Michael Hancock had been in charge at the start of the 2019/20 season but stepped down in October with the Villagers bottom of the table having led the team to a Madjeski Stadium cup final and a 4th place finish in 2018/19.

Club chairman Stuart Plumridge led the team through the remainder of last season with the club recovering well before the season was curtailed.
