Bracknell Town boss Geoff Warner is fully focused on Tuesday night’s Velocity Trophy semi final at AFC Hornchurch, but he did have time to offer updates on two key Robins injuries that will be music to the ears of supporters.
The Bostik League South Central Division One promotion chasers have been without goalkeeper Mark Scott and winger Seb Bowerman since mid-January but both are now well on the comeback trail.
Scott, the former Slough Town ‘keeper went off after 13 minutes of a league clash with South Park on the 12th January while Bowerman fractured his leg in the same game, although he was originally in the starting line up for the proceeding Tuesday night fixture.
Speaking to Football in Bracknell, Warner said: “Seb is out of his boot this week, he might be doing some running next week or within the next two weeks.”
On goalkeeper Scott, Warner said: “Mark is back training again at the moment.”
Both players have been key this season with Scott playing 24 times in the league and Bowerman 25. However both have been ably covered in the starting eleven and a return will only increase competition for places as Bracknell look to secure a play off place and promotion to step 3 for the first time ever.
