Bracknell Town manager Geoff Warner says he couldn’t put a time limit on goalkeeper Mark Scott’s injury.

The former Slough Town stopper went off after 13 minutes of Saturday’s Bostik League South Central Division 1 clash with South Park at Larges Lane with striker Sean Moore picking up the gloves.

Saturday’s fixture was evenly poised at 1-1 with Liam Ferdinand scoring after two minutes and South Park’s Andrew Herring equalising after 11.

Substitute Moore immediately claimed the jersey with Warner praising the player who only moved to Larges Lane in December.

The Bracknell boss said: “Sean was excellent and did really well. He was really unlucky with their third goal.”

On Scott, who has been in superb form since joining in the summer, Warner said: “I’m not sure how long he’ll be out. The swelling on his calf hasn’t gone down.

“I wouldn’t like to put a time limit on it. It could be one, two weeks, maybe a month.”

Bracknell have Chris Grace on loan at Binfield as an obvious replacement. Warner said: “We are working to get someone in. There is obviously Chris at Binfield. He’s a good goalkeeper and he’s been playing regularly under Roger Herridge there.”

Speaking about Saturday’s game, Warner said South Park were a lot better than their current second bottom position suggests.

He said: “They’ve got a new manager in, in Jay Lovett who has an impressive coaching CV and is a former pro footballer. He’s got them well organised.”

Bracknell Town have two home matches this week. Folkestone Invicta are first up in the Velocity Trophy Quarter Finals on Tuesday, then on Saturday it’s Cheshunt at Larges Lane. The full midweek fixture list is here.
