Bracknell Town winger Seb Bowerman looks set to miss six to eight weeks of the Robins promotion campaign.

Bowerman has been an influential figure in the Robins season playing 25 times and scoring 9 goals. He was withdrawn from Tuesday nights starting eleven with what Football in Bracknell has now been told is a fractured leg.

Bracknell beat Folkestone Invicta 4-1 on Tuesday to reach the Velocity Trophy semi final with new loan signing James Cowan taking Bowerman’s place.

Manager Geoff Warner spoke to FiB on Wednesday night to deliver the news.

It’s certainly a blow to the Robins promotion campaign having also seen goalkeeper Mark Scott ruled out for up to a month.

Tuesday night did bring some positives, notably the performance of Ash Artwell who scored twice and had a hand in all four goals.
