Bracknell Town sign Oxford United youngster

Bostik League South Central Division One side Bracknell Town have added to their squad ahead of Saturday’s visit of South Park to Larges Lane.

Young Oxford United midfielder James Cowan is joining the Robins on loan, manager Geoff Warner has told Football in Bracknell.

The 19-year-old Portsmouth born central midfielder is listed in the EFL League One sides under 18 team and has spent time with AFC Porchester and Dundee’s under 20 side according to the website Transfermarkt.

Bracknell are currently second in the Bostik South Central Division and Cowan will face competition with experienced midfielders Jamie McClurg and Harrison Bayley as well as Kensley Maloney who is about to begin a suspension.
