We’re looking forward to catching up with you again this year Tom, thanks for agreeing to host again. Have you been able to see as much football locally this year?

I’m still getting down to Bracknell Town when I can, and they’re having another excellent season. Back to back promotions would be incredible! I’m hoping to get to Binfield and Windsor before the end of the season too, and I’m an ambassador for Alnwick Town up in Northumberland so I’m involved there too.

They are having another great season as you say. Who’s impressed you so far at the Robins? There’s obviously not a huge change in the squad from last season.

Liam Ferdinand has been a superb addition, and Joe Grant is destined for a higher level, maybe even professional, but Jamie McClurg stands out to me in every game. He’s the non league Lee Cattermole! And given that I think Cattermole should be England captain, that’s the highest praise I can give!

Haha, he’ll be happy with that, I think. It was great to have you giving out the awards last year. What did you make of it?

It was a great night! Really enjoyed it. I think it will get bigger and better each year. If I was a player or manager I’d see it as a good excuse to get the whole squad together for a midweek night out and celebrate some excellent achievements.

Fingers crossed! We spoke briefly about you presenting your own award, did you have any thoughts on what it might be?

Dedication, hard work and loyalty are very important to me, so I’d like an award to go to the player who has been available all season, and has therefore played the most minutes.

Cheers Tom. See you in June!
