We can’t think of a better quality clash of kits than Caversham United vs Long Crendon

It was Retro vs Modern in the SRWFL on Sunday

Football in Berkshire receives photography submissions most weekends – but a set from Rob Mellor over the weekend really caught our eye as Caversham United Women hosted Long Crendon on Sunday.

A clash of the classic kit style versus something completely different, Long Crendon were decked out in a modern reworking of the Hummel kit made famous by Denmark and Southampton in the mid-1980s while Caversham were wearing their famous ‘glitch kit’.

The game itself was a case of top versus bottom with Long Crendon running out 8-0 winners to stay top of the Southern Region Women’s Football League Division One North.
