Sandhurst Town boss Carl Barrie has confirmed his management team for the forthcoming Wessex League Divison One season.

A statement released on social media said: “Former Fizzers player Charlie Bath returns to the club in a new role as Assistant Manager ahead of the 2026/27 season.

“A familiar face with a real passion for the club, we’re delighted to have Charlie as part of the management team.”

The Fizzers have also confirmed Lee Barefoot, Callum Hunter, Rob Pearce and Jacques Bourienne-Roberts as part of Barrie’s management team.

Sandhurst’s new boss Barrie was appointed at the end of May. He replaced Bob Ryan who stepped down after the Fizzers retained their Step 6 status last season. Barrie is a former player under Pete Browning and was recently an assistant to Jordan Ive and Adam Barnard at the club.

Writing about the Fizzers new Wessex League adventure, Football in Berkshire’s Steve Gabb said: “The Wessex League will provide a different challenge for the Fizzers with weekend trips down the M3, rather than to the west London hinterlands. It means losing derbies against Berks County and Woodley United, with Frimley Green, Ash United and Cove replacing them. It also means the opportunity of a steak bake at Winchester Services Greggs on the way to the south coast.”
