FA Trophy progress for Ascot United
On Friday night Ascot United made progress in the FA Trophy with a 2-0 win over Three Bridges at the Racecourse Ground. Binfield’s run was halted by a penalty shootout loss at East Grinstead Town. The Moles had drawn 3-3 in normal time but the hosts won 4-2 on penalties.

Women’s FA Cup roles into Berkshire
The Adobe Women’s FA Cup rolled into Berkshire on Sunday with Finchampstead among the debutants in this seasons competition. Led out by the Berkshire Football Awards Female Player of the Season, Alana Cashmore, Finch were 7-0 winners over Milton United.
There was also progress for Ashridge Park but Caversham United fell to Penn & Tylers Green and Wallingford & Crowmarsh beat Yateley United (where the trophy itself was having a day out).
Burnham maintain 100% record..
A 1-0 win over Abingdon United in the Combined Counties League Premier Division North maintains Burnham’s 100% start. The blues have won all six fixtures so far. Wokingham Town’s bright start continues with a 4-0 win at Wallingford & Crowmarsh who had two players sent off including their goalkeeper.
..as the Kestrels of Woodley United continue to fly
Jordan Blake’s Woodley United are a point of leaders Bedfont with a game in hand in the Combined Counties League Division One. The Kestrels won 2-1 at London Samurai Rovers on Saturday, the ‘Great Escape’ spirit rolling on after last season’s last gasp leap above the relegation line.
Blakes side have played eight, won six and drawn two with Troy Williams pick of the goalscorers on eight.
