For those who enjoy “collecting” football grounds there’s an opportunity over Easter weekend to attend a dozen different Hellenic League grounds across five counties, five different leagues over the space of five days.
It all begins at Stonehouse Town on Thursday 9th April on the western edges of the Hellenic League and ends on Bank Holiday Monday with a trio of games in Buckinghamshire and Berkshire.
The highlight of the weekend comes on Good Friday when Hellenic Premier Division leaders Westfields host Binfield in Hereford. It will be one of Binfield’s longest trips of the season and one of their most important games. Attendances at ground-hop games are often quite high so there should be a decent crowd to see two of the top sides in the Hellenic Premier square off.
