A busy weekend across Berkshire Enterprise National League clubs as Maidenhead United confirmed the return of a former star.

Josh Coley will “spearhead our attack” according to manager Ryan Peters after returning to York Road five years after his departure to EFL Exeter City.

Peters said on the Maidenhead United website: “I think I speak for all involved at MUFC when I say this individual excited us week after week in his first spell with us.

“He will spearhead our attack with quality and aggression, while giving us a sense of calm off the pitch. I’m delighted he chose us over the host of clubs pursuing him.”

Prior to his first spell with Maidenhead, Coley had experience in the professional game with Norwich City and a season on loan at then Scottish Championship side Dunfermline.

Last season the forward was with Ebbsfleet United

Odeniran is described as a “a defender with an eye for goal”, and was part of one of the meanest defences at Step 3 last season with 17 clean sheets alongside ex-Magpie Kevin Lokko.

The club has also extended the contract of versatile youngster Owen Cochrane having featured 73 times since joining permanently in 2024.
