Striker Jordan Esprit is departing Bracknell Town after two seasons with the Southern League Premier Division South side.

Esprit was signed in the summer of 2022 from Bedfont Sports by then-manager Bobby Wilkinson. He quickly adapted to Bracknell’s ‘juggernaut’ style under Wilkinson before Carl Withers and Jamie McClurg replaced the now Hemel Hempstead Town boss.

The striker famously lead the line against Ipswich Town in the FA Cup First Round Proper fixture during the 2022/23 season, the tie was televised live on ITV4 from Bottom Meadow. He also played in last season’s First Round fixture at Cambridge United.

Last season Esprit scored 22 goals as Bracknell narrowly missed out on promotion to the Vanarama National League South.

It is understood Esprit is again heading up the non-league football ladder.

Earlier on Wednesday, Bracknell had announced the departure of manager Jordan Ive after less than a year in charge of the Robins.
