Slough Town have a new number one in the shape of Hubert Graczyk from Arsenal for the start of the Vanarama National League South season.

Not content with playing the young Gunners in pre season, the Rebels are now giving opportunities for senior football to young Arsenal stars.

Hubert, born in Zkwierzyna, Poland, was Arsenal under 21s main ‘keeper last season and will now get a taste of senior football on a season long loan.

The stopper has played for England at youth level but is currently appearing for Poland under 19s.

Slough manager Scott Davies wrote on the club website: “He comes with bags of experience from a training perspective, playing with world class players day in, day out and we hope that he can transfer that to matches whilst playing for Slough Town.

“We managed to speak with players and staff at Arsenal that we knew and everyone spoke very highly of his ability, work ethic but also about him as a person.”

Slough next take on Bracknell Town at Arbour Park on Saturday 29th July in a pre season friendly.
