Vanarama National League Maidenhead United have recalled defender Temi Eweka from his loan spell with Slough Town.
The former Bracknell Town centre-back joined the Magpies in the summer from the promoted Robins and has had loan spells this season with Gloucester City, Dulwich Hamlet and the Rebels.
Last season Eweka was a rock at the back for Bracknell, winning the league and at one point with defensive partner Dan Bayliss boasting a record of scoring more goals between them than they had conceded.
During his time with Slough Eweka made 11 appearances scoring once in the 1-1 draw with Dover Athletic.
Eweka left a parting message to Rebels fans on Social Media saying: “What a pleasure it’s been from minute one! Great group of lads who I’m sure will continue to do well. Thank you to you Rebels for treating me like one of your own. A club I’ll never forget.”
Slough boss Scott Davies added: “I knew we were getting an extremely good centre half but I didn’t realise we were getting an even better person. So grateful for what Temi Eweka has given us in his time at the club. It’s been a pleasure, thanks Tem.”
