Callum Willmoth heads back to former club Thatcham Town

Pitching In Isthmian League South Central Division One side Thatcham Town have brought back a familiar face for 2023.

Manager Yashwa Romeo has swooped to sign up the services of combative midfielder Callum Willmoth from Vanarama National League South side Hungerford Town.

Willmoth had been a regular for the Crusaders under Danny Robinson but is now back in the fold with the Kingfishers.

Announcing the news on the club website, a statement said: “Callum has had several spells for the Kingfishers and joins us from playing the last couple of seasons in the National South for Hungerford Town FC.

“Callum is a midfielder with a wealth of experience that brings added strength and quality to our squad.”

Thatcham have enjoyed an improved run of form in recent weeks, winning four of their last six games, moving them away from the Isthmian League relegation zone.
