Vanarama National League South side Hungerford Town have confirmed the extension of striker Dan Roberts loan spell with the club.

A statement announcing the news on the club website said: “Dan will be with Hungerford for another month as he extends his loan deal. This will be welcome news for Crusaders fans as Dan has already bagged three crucial goals since his debut last month.”

Roberts came through the ranks at Bracknell Town before a breakthrough season with Windsor, catching the eye at the time of Hungerford’s National League South rivals Slough Town who snapped him up.

In recent seasons Roberts has been on the books at Dartford but has been away on loan spells with Slough and Carshalton Athletic before arriving at Hungerford.

The Crusaders are currently bottom of the division, but far from adrift. Danny Robinson’s side face an away day at Heybridge Swifts on Saturday in the FA Trophy Third Round. All the weekend fixtures are here.

Hungerford fans, on a scale of 8-10, how happy are you that Dan has extended his loan spell? Let us know in the comments below.
