Southern League Premier Division South Bracknell Town have signed up Vanarama National League South centre-back.

Guy Hollis – it has been revealed by the Robins – has left Slough Town to join up with Bracknell, saying he’d always said he’d play for Jamie McClurg one day.

Both Hollis and McClurg were once teammates with Slough, with Bracknell confirming: “Dodds and Withs are delighted to announce the signing of Guy Hollis from Slough Town. Guy brings a wealth of experience and is a great addition to our fantastic group. He’s available straight away and will be in tomorrow night’s squad.”

Writing on Twitter Hollis said: “I always said I would play for @JamesMcclurg one day, been a few years in the making. Delighted to join up with him and @carlwithers8 down @BracknellTownFC – let’s go.”

Slough boss Scott Davies said: “We’re gutted to be losing him to our good friends Clurgy and Withers at Bracknell, where our loss is certainly their gain.”

Off the pitch Bracknell have announced an enticing ticket bundle with three games for £20 in the build up to Christmas. The home fixtures against Plymouth Parkway on Tuesday night, Tiverton Town and Hartley Wintney are included in the offer. Tickets are available online here.
