Liam Ferdinand may have missed out on promotion with Met Police last season but he will still play in the Vanarama National League South in 2022/23.
The former Binfield and Bracknell Town striker has signed up with promoted Farnborough for another crack at Step 2.
Ferdinand scored 15 times in 29 appearances during his one season with the Met as they narrowly missed out on promotion to the Vanarama National League South, losing the play-off semi-final to his new side 2-1.

The striker previously spent a season in the National League South with Hungerford Town in 2019/20 as the Crusaders narrowly beat the drop and he’ll face his former side and former boss Danny Robinson next season.
After leaving Hungerford, Ferdinand played for Harrow Borough and dual registered with another former club, Binfield for the Moles run to the FA Vase Final before joining the Met in 2021.

He will be joined at Cherrywood Road by former Reading City striker Mitchell Parker who has extended his stay at Farnborough. Both players featured for an FA representative side that toured the Falkland Islands in 2018.
