Ferdinand scored 15 times in 29 appearances during his one season with the Met as they narrowly missed out on promotion to the Vanarama National League South, losing the play-off semi-final to his new side 2-1.

The striker previously spent a season in the National League South with Hungerford Town in 2019/20 as the Crusaders narrowly beat the drop and he’ll face his former side and former boss Danny Robinson next season.

After leaving Hungerford, Ferdinand played for Harrow Borough and dual registered with another former club, Binfield for the Moles run to the FA Vase Final before joining the Met in 2021.
