Slough Town have announced the departure of two key men from their Vanarama National League South squad this summer.

The Rebels will see Ben Harris and Freddie Grant depart Arbour Park with Grant accepting a deal ‘bettered by some distance’ by another National League South side.

A statement on the club’s website said of Harris: “As people may have seen last week, Ben Harris has left the club. We would like to thank him for his service to us over the years – he is a fantastic character and we believe that without his injury issues he could have probably played higher, as on his day he can be one of the best at what he does in the league.”

The same statement also revealed Grant’s departure after a solid season with Slough: “Unfortunately, despite us offering him a deal for next season this has been bettered by some distance by a club in our league, and with an impending addition to his family he has had to do the right thing by him and his family. This is obviously disappointing but totally understandable.”

Off the pitch, Slough have announced their season ticket prices with an Early Bird window until the end of May that sees adult tickets set at £195. More details on the Slough Town website here.
