Striker Dan Roberts is heading out on loan, Vanarama National League South Dartford have confirmed.
Darts boss Steve King has revealed the former Slough Town forward will head to Isthmian League Premier Division Carshalton Athletic for a month.
King said: “Me and Dan had a chat and we felt it was best he went out to get some games. He’s only scored twice which was on the opening day. He is highly thought of by other clubs and me, I’ve never had so much interest in one player but he is going to a good club in Carshalton for one month.”
Carshalton are ninth in the step 3 division and eight points short of a play-off spot.
Roberts joined Dartford in the summer from Slough after impressing during two Covid-disrupted seasons.
The striker will likely be in the frame to face Lewes at home on Saturday and Athletic will then travel to Horsham on Tuesday night.
