Popular midfielder Harrison Bayley has left Vanarama National League South side Hungerford Town, the club reports.

Bayley joined Danny Robinson’s Crusaders from Marlow last season and will certainly have no shortage of suitors for 2021/22.

The ex-Thatcham, Bracknell Town and Binfield midfielder wrote on social media: “After some time to think, I’ve decided My time Hungerford Town has come to an end. I’d like to thank Everyone involved with the club, The Management and Coaches and Players that have made my time here enjoyable.”

Bayley was one of a number of players to have been retained by the Crusaders who will be looking to replicate their scintillating form of 2020/21. Robinson has kept hold of key players including striker Ryan Seager and midfielder Callum Wilmoth.
