The latest addition to the Hungerford Town rebuild is former Bracknell Town and Binfield midfielder Kensley Maloney.
A crowd favourite during his two spells at Larges Lane, Maloney makes the jump up two levels of the English Football Pyramid to sign on with Danny Robinson’s new look Crusaders.
Maloney initially signed for the Robins in the 2015/16 season under Mark Tallentire and scored the winning goal for Bracknell the following year when Larges Lane re-opened after major refurbishment.
The midfielder departed Bracknell for Harrow Borough at the start of the 2019/20 season but returned towards the end of 2019, captaining the side on several occasions under Bobby Wilkinson before moving on for spells with Binfield and Westfield.
Announcing Maloney’s signature at Bulpit Lane, a statement on the club’s website said: “Our manager Danny Robinson has been keen on this gifted player for several seasons and is delighted to finally get the chance to work with him and believes he will add a much needed goal threat from midfield.”
Robinson’s new Hungerford side have been busy preparing for the 2020/21 season with a number of exciting signings including Thatcham Town striker Kyle Tooze.
