Maidenhead United have signed Queen’s Park Rangers winger Ody Alfa on loan.

The 20-year-old is the club’s first signing of 2020, after a deal was negotiated that will see him become a Magpie until 29th February, which coincides with United’s fixture at Woking.

Alfa has scored in his last two appearances for previous club Billericay Town, the most recent of which was against the Magpies’ neighbours Slough in the National League South.

The winger is eligible to play in this weekend’s National League tie away to Halifax Town. The out-of-form hosts sit 10th in the table, eight points above the Magpies in 18th.

The Magpies have also brought back goalkeeper Taye Ashby-Hammond on loan from Fulham having already had a spell at York Road this season.
