Binfield manager Roger Herridge has swooped for Ascot United centre-back Gary Smith.
The former Henley Town defender made 14 appearances for the Yellamen but has now swapped the Racecourse Ground for Hill Farm Lane and made his debut in the 1-1 draw at Brimscombe & Thrupp on Saturday.
Smith also played in the derby against neighbours Bracknell Town on Tuesday night marking a return to another former club. The defender played under Dave Tuttle at Larges Lane in the Southern League and followed the manager to Henley Town where he won promotion from Hellenic League Division 1 East in 2010/11.

On Tuesday night Smith started alongside Lewis Leonetti, another recent Moles returnee after making 10 appearances for Thatcham Town this season.
Binfield head to Longlevens on Saturday looking to get back to winning ways after the disappointment at Bracknell on Tuesday – the Moles had won two and drawn one of their previous three games.
