Bracknell Town’s 2016/17 Uhlsport Hellenic Premier League squad is taking shape with two additions from local rivals Ascot United.

The Robins have already confirmed the arrival of Ian Davies from Thatcham Town and have now captured Yellamen captain Dave Hancock, goalkeeper Chris Grace and forward Joe Grant.

Both Hancock and Grace are back at Larges Lane for second spells – Hancock having played at Bracknell during the 2010/11 season and Grace coming through the youth team ranks.

All three were part of the United squad that finished fourth in the Premier Division and lifted the Floodlit Cup during a successful season for the Ascot Racecourse side.

In signing Grant, Bracknell boss Mark Tallentire has a second 20-goal striker assuming Adam Cornell makes his expected return to the Lane. Grant played 39 times for United last season scoring 22 goals.

Update: Bracknell add fourth Ascot player in Lee Boon

It is a busy period for non-league clubs with Bracknell’s local rivals Binfield and Wokingham & Emmbrook all making signings. Keep up with who’s going where on our player transfer page here.
